God’s Wonderful Plan For Your Life

null

null May I ask you a Spiritual Question?

Have you come to the place in your spiritual life that you know for certain that if you were to die today you would go to heaven?

If you were to die today and stand before God and He were to say to you, “Why should I let you into heaven?” What would you say?

null The Plan of Salvation Justification by Faith

null God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life

  • Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,'' declares the LORD, ``plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
  • John 10:10 "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

null But our sins have separated us from our God

  • Isaiah 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way”.
  • Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".
  • Isaiah 59:2 "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.”

null God loves you and wants you back.

  •  Jeremiah 31:33-34 “But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

null He sent the Messiah to take our punishment in our place

  •  Isaiah 53:3-6 “He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

null Jesus died on the cross so that we might live

  • Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
  • John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

null Eternal life is a gift that is already paid in full

  • Romans 3:22-24 "This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

null Through Messiah we are forgiven and reconnected back to God by Faith.

  • Romans 10:9 "…if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
  • John 5:24 [Jesus said] “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”

null Do you desire the forgiveness and the gift of eternal life that Jesus came to give to  you?

null Would you pray with me a prayer of thanksgiving?

  • Lord, I confess that I have sinned and that I need Your forgiveness. Thank You for sending Your Son to die for me in my place. Thank You for bringing Him back to life. Thank You for doing this all to give me eternal life.  I thank You that your Son promised I will not be condemned. Thank You for bringing me from death to life. Holy Spirit, give me faith all the days of my life.  In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

 null Confession of Faith

  •  “I believe that Jesus Christ, true God, begotten of the Father from eternity, and also true man, born of the Virgin Mary, is my Lord, who has redeemed me, a lost and condemned person, purchased and won me from all sins, from death, and from the power of the devil; not with gold or silver, but with His holy, precious blood and with His innocent suffering and death, that I may be His own, and live under Him in His kingdom, and serve Him in everlasting righteousness, innocence, and blessedness, even as He is risen from the dead, lives and reigns to all eternity.”

null SUGGESTED PRAYERS IF YOU'RE STILL NOT SURE:

  • Prayer: “God, if You’re really out there, if You’re alive, show me.  God, if the Bible is true about Who You are, show me. God, if Jesus is the Messiah, show me.”
  • Remember - If you hear and believe, Jesus says you HAVE eternal life. You will not be judged for your sins. God took them away and remembers them no more. You have already passed from death to life!
  • John 5:24  Jesus said: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me HAS eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”
